Brand New Toy

Last month, my father brought back a big box after work happily and put the giant box on the counter of our kitchen. There was a big name of the product written on the box. It was the Delonghi espresso machine which is very well-known and has good quality. My friend, Shermaine has one in her house. Her mother used to make nice espresso and coffee for us whenever I pay visit there. I just could not resist the nice and strong aroma coming out from the kitchen when Shermaine’s mother started to brew the coffee. Now, I can enjoy those nice coffee and espresso in my house as well.

My mother, a very careful lady, started to read the catalogue and menu to find out how to function the machine, when the deadline of the warranty is and what we have to bear in mind when using this machine. While my father started to press here and there, trying to find out the way using this machine by himself. He was a little bit brilliant where he managed to identify the way to brew coffee without referring to any catalogue or guidelines. That’s my father.

After having this little toy in my home kitchen, we have fresh and nice coffee every morning after my mother started to manage the little machine as she finished reading the books given. I just love the coffee made from this little machine and the coffee I have every morning is the great booster for me to fill up my energy to face my daily tasks.

My Life in Buenos Aires, Argentina with Alberto

I remember last time in Buenos Aires, going around the city centre at sunset. I was late for my meeting with my partner in the local office. I travelled for 13 hours, from Europe to South America, and after a quick stop in the hotel and a shower I was in one of the most contrasting cities of the world. Buenos Aires is Argentina’s city of music and gourmet food, exquisite cuisine and people’s smile in its exclusive gourmet restaurants. As a wine lover I experienced amazing tastings and beautiful colors for their red passion wines. I felt the melancholy that was breathed in every neighborhood and all I could imagine was the slow pace music everywhere.

Alberto was waiting for me inside his office. I could recognize the wines, the same were sent to me last Christmas, and I still feel the dark taste of the plums and intense violet color everywhere. My partner has many hobbies that involve wine. He has attended many awesome wine tastings in Buenos Aires, and has become a Malbec, Torrontes, and Argentine Cabernet Sauvignon expert. He has a certificate as a wine taster that he proudly displayed on his wall. He speaks a more slow Spanish giving the language a natural rhythm. His hair is dark and his skin his tanned. Alberto has beautiful Latin features. We talked for hours about flights, long journeys and amazing places in Patagonia.

Traveling is something that I adore and when in business I have the lucky to be spoiled at the most. Buenos Aires will always be remembered for the amazing Malbec wines, Cabernet Sauvignon wines and beautiful and so coloufull and awsome wine tasting in Buenos Aires restaurants, Alberto wine pairings skills and tango gestures, and I want always to return. I live now in Paris and my amazing time in Buenos Aires is linked with the spirit of the tango while drinking my Melmec wine and playing some old vinyl’s. I am a management consultant and I love food and wine .

Learn How to Properly Care for Your Monolith 1200C

The Monolith 1200C is a reasonably priced cabinet humidor; however, like other humidors, there are going to be certain steps for humidor care that you need to take in order to properly care for this unit. For example, you should never place any items on the top of your humidor. Cedar wood can be rather fragile, and exposing it to undue weight and stress, the wood could potentially crack. Additionally, you should not place the Monolith 1200C where it is exposed to direct sunlight. The next step in humidor care that you should follow is to store the humidor in a cool, dry location. Exposure to drastic temperature changes can affect the humidity levels inside of the humidor. Over time, the exterior of the humidor can gather dust, which could potentially clog its humidifying device. While you should never clean your Monolith 1200c with any cleaning products, it is acceptable to wipe its interior and exterior with a cloth that has been dampened with distilled water in order to properly clean the humidor.
